Throat is pleased to announce Decoding, an exhibition held in the congruous setting of the New York Public Library's Mulberry Street Branch. Decoding was inspired by modern methods of accessing information, using technology as the main tool. Throat aims to present visual representations of various artists' definitions of ¨Decoding¨ in a space that consistently provides knowledge, fosters solutions and encourages new ways of thinking to its patrons.


Contributing artists: Anna Topuriya, Leslie Jimenez, Everett Williams, Margarita Álvarez, Alexi Brown-Schmidt, Shaneika Marson, Jessica Daly, Matthew Flaherty, Laura Pérez, Joanna Chak, Ulrika Stromback, Lauren Seiden, Emet Sosna, Aleks Banner, Bryan Wilson, Eric Clark, Andrew Pratt, Christopher Hund, Natalie Borowicz, Lillian Boyce, Matthew Cylinder, and Krysta Brayer.

 

On view January 3 - February 29, 2012.

Opening event on Monday January 9th from 5:45 - 7pm in the Community Room, with light refreshments.
